Our clinic

Friends For All Clinic (formerly The Corner) offers our Mid-South community access to low-to-no-cost STI & HIV testing, treatment, and prevention. • Friends For All Clinic (previously The Corner) helps the Mid-South community by offering affordable STI/HIV testing, prevention, and treatment. Since 2018, we've provided confidential care in the Cooper-Young District of Memphis. We are now enhancing our services with new programs, including an in-house pharmacy.

  • Testing at our clinic happens by appointment only. We offer two-site testing (urine and rectal), as well as a blood draw for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and HIV only through its testing services. NOTE: Oral and vaginal swabs are ordered as deemed necessary by the medical provider and will result in additional charges.

Currently, our clinic does not test or treat the following: Trichomonas (“Trich”), Bacterial Vaginosis (BV), Genital Herpes (HSV), Genital Warts (HPV), Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), Ectoparasitic Infections (“Crabs”), and Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs).

  • Friends For All Clinic offers HIV Rapid Start to help individuals who are newly diagnosed with HIV stay healthy and become virally suppressed and undetectable as soon as possible. We also offer HIV Long-Term Care for individuals who choose to remain in care with us beyond their antiretroviral therapy (ART) initiation.

Undetectable equals Untransmittable (U=U), also referred to as Treatment as Prevention (TasP), means that people with HIV who achieve and maintain an undetectable viral load—the amount of HIV in the blood—by taking ART daily as prescribed cannot sexually transmit HIV to others. Learn more about being undetectable here.

  • At Friends For All Clinic, we offer Truvada, Descovy, and Apretude for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP). PrEP is a medication taken to prevent HIV infection. PrEP is highly effective for prevention of HIV when it is taken as prescribed. The medication reduces risk of getting HIV from sex by 99% and by 74% for injection drug use. PrEP does not prevent other STIs, but it is more than 99% effective in preventing HIV. PrEP does not protect against other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and pregnancy.
