HIV is treatable, not a death sentence. One daily pill can achieve undetectable status within 90 days, meaning you cannot transmit or pass along HIV, allowing normal life expectancy and safer sexual practices. Click here to learn more about your treatment options.

Friends For All offers our Mid-South Friends several low-to-no-cost options to help prevent you from contracting HIV & STIs.
PrEP: At Friends, we offer Truvada, Descovy, and Apretude for PrEP, a highly effective medication to prevent HIV infection, reducing risk by up to 99%. However, it does not prevent other STIs.
PEP: We also offer limited access to Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP). PEP is a medication taken within 72 hours to prevent HIV infection after potential exposure. PEP does not protect against other STIs or pregnancy. It is not a substitute for regular HIV prevention methods like PrEP, condoms, reducing partners, or abstinence.
Condom Distribution: Condoms are an effective tool in preventing HIV and other STIs. When used properly, they reduce the risk of STIs by up to 98%. Our locations offer a range of free condoms, including non-latex options. If you need guidance on proper condom use, our staff is available to provide education.
